‘Stuk’ becomes a four letter word!
Why are we still in Horta? Yes, it’s a great place but the truth is we are stuck, or ‘stuk’ again! This time all that is holding us up is waiting for the delivery of a small Seagull water filter from General Ecology.
The filters are great. Water quality in the Caribbean was poor so we have got through our filter stock. But the company ships via Royal Mail International so here we are over two week after the initial shipment still waiting around checking the inbound mail at the marina three times a day. Since when are Royal Mail international? I wish they had offered a Fedex service so at least we could track it.
So while we wait, we paint. Perhaps that’s what the paintings are about; waiting for spares….
where is the next stop for you guys … are you going Portugal Uk or to the med?
Depends on the wind but either Northern Spain, Northern France or the Scilly Isles in 2 or 3 weeks time. We aim to be back on the South coast at the end of August. How are your plans? When do you set off?
